Archduke Otto von Hapsburg

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

Archduke Otto von Hapsburg was born in 1912 and became head of the imperial House of Hapsburg after his father's death in 1922.  They were rulers of the Austro-Hungarian empire abolished after the first world war.
Though he lived a life of exile he made every day count.

Also known as Otto Hapsburg-Lothringen, he was the eldest son of the last Austrian Emperor.  He was an opponent of the Nazis annexation of Austria in 1938 and played a pivotal role in European resistance of communist rule.

To a life of peace, well lived.  R.I.P.
